Originating from the Amur river in Russia and China, Amur Caviar has an intense, earthy flavor that gives it a place amongst the front runners of quality caviar.
Amur is a pearlescent dark brown color, with a musky and briny finish that lingers on the palate. This high quality caviar is often referred to as Japanese Sturgeon caviar as it is thought that the species travels to and originates from the Sea of Japan.
